- Follow instructions from the police

- Set your phone on silent
- Call 1-1-2, do not hang up! The police can listen and track the call
- Turn off the lights and draw drapes
- Can you evacuate now? Run!
- Consider what you can do if the perpetrator enters the room
- What may you use as a weapon?
- Make a simple plan to act in a coordinated manner
- Attack the weapon og the perpetrator's eyes or throat - try to bring the person down
